# Master of Science in Computational Finance & Risk Management

I enrolled in the [University of Washington](https://www.washington.edu/)’s Master of Science in [Computational Finance & Risk Management](https://depts.washington.edu/compfin/) (UW MS-CFRM), as a member of the 2023 cohort. The program is under the [Department of Applied Mathematics](https://amath.washington.edu/), housed in Lewis Hall.

> The CFRM program at the University of Washington addresses the demand in the financial services industry for advanced quantitative computational finance competencies and next-generation risk management skills. CFRM provides students with a rigorous mathematical and statistical foundation as well as extensive instruction in the use of open source R-programming. The CFRM program at the University of Washington addresses the demand in the financial services industry for advanced quantitative computational finance competencies and next-generation risk management skills.
